第10回Asia Pacific Congress of Hypertension(APCH 2014)が2月12〜14日にフィリピン・セブ島で開催されます。ぜひご参加ください。
以下、APSH事務局長よりのメッセージです。
On behalf of the Board of Trustees of the APSH and the local organizing committee of the 10th APCH, I am pleased to inform you that all preparations are well on track for our forthcoming congress next month at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cebu City on February 12-15.
As Professor Trefor Morgan has informed you in a previous e-mail, the scientific program has been finalized, as well as the papers to be presented in the Young Investigator’s Award, oral free communications and posters. We are grateful for the inputs some of you have given, and our scientific committee has consolidated all inputs to ensure an exciting and highly relevant program, highlighting the advances made over the last few years in the diagnosis and management of Hypertension. We’re also honored and privileged to have esteemed leaders in the field of Hypertension such as Prof. Toshiro Fujita from Japan and Prof. Murray Esler from Australia, who will share with the congress participants their groundbreaking researches and other recent data. We aim to make the scientific program as interactive as possible, with ample opportunities also for the participants to network with other colleagues in the region.
Although we know the participants will attend the congress mainly for the scientific enrichment they could get, our venue Cebu City, which is considered as one of the tourism pearls of our country, also offers
a lot of exciting attractions with its famed white-sand beaches and several historical sites. The delegates can choose from any of the tours our tour organizers have prepared. There are also direct flights to Cebu City coming from various Asian-Pacific and international key cities, so you don’t have to transit in Manila.
The Governor of Cebu province (Gov. Hilario Davide III) will officially welcome the delegates during the opening ceremonies; and Mayor Michael Rama, the popular mayor of Cebu City, the province’s capital city, will regale the congress delegates by singing one or two songs during the welcome reception.
We sincerely hope you could all join us for the congress, and invite your colleagues in your respective countries to join us too for the 10th APCH. For those of you who have not registered yet, you can still do so and being an APSH Council member, you can still avail of the early-bird discount even if the deadline has lapsed already. Our organizer, Kenes Asia, Inc., is also offering special discounts for group registration of 10 or more.
